The installation covers the pump unit, the cylinder, the cabin, the doors and the tuning of the whole system.

Hydraulic pump unit
Contains the pump, oil tank and valves, positioned at ground level.
Cylinder and piston
Oil pressure drives the cylinder to raise the cabin without a counterweight.
Shaft and pit
The pit is shallower than a conventional elevator requires.
Cabin and finish
We choose the size and interior finish with you to suit the building.
Landing and cabin doors
Fitted at shaft openings and synchronised with the cabin door.
Controller and commissioning
Stopping levels at each floor are set to prevent a step at the threshold.

When is the hydraulic elevator the right choice for my building?

It is most suitable when the pit is shallow or when the upper structure leaves no space for a machine room. It also suits low-rise buildings where any difference in speed compared with a conventional elevator is not a practical concern.

What should I prepare in the building before installation begins?

Make sure the shaft is ready and the floor openings are clearly defined. Prepare the small room at ground level that will hold the pump unit, and confirm that the required electrical supply has been brought to where the unit will sit before work begins.

Does the hydraulic system oil need regular attention?

Yes, the oil level and quality are checked during routine maintenance because an oil leak or degraded oil affects how accurately the cabin stops at each floor. Many owners overlook this, assuming the system is completely sealed.

What should I check in a hydraulic elevator after it is installed?

Watch the stopping level at every floor: if the cabin consistently stops above or below the threshold, the valve setting needs reviewing. Also check that there are no oil marks below the pump unit.

Can the cabin finish be changed later without touching the hydraulic system?
