A hospital elevator is unlike any other
A common mistake with hospital elevators is choosing them to the dimensions of a residential building. A narrow door stops a bed halfway through the opening, and a short cabin cannot take a patient lying flat. The part that is often overlooked is the control system: an elevator without a priority setting treats the urgent-care floor the same as any other floor.
